  • i think its allowed.:) it was nice talking to you as well, do you think we'll talk again?:( im gonna send you a FR just in case.:D
Behind on technology? Lol. We don't even HAVE a digital camera. My parents... they don't have a great understanding of technology in general, so I guess they're a bit reluctant too get stuff like that. We only got real Broadband last week, I'd been using my mobile to go online for the past... forever, lol. The broadband is partially what lead to the Blue Screen, but I've updated to Win7 since, and luckily I've had no problems (except it keeps searching for updates or something, and every few days it needs to restart to apply one. This is my second time writing this reply, first time I was cut off by a restart. Once t turns on again and is functioning, I won't complain, lol). I'm fine, thanks. Kinda bored, living in the country'll do that to ya, but I'm good. :)

Ooh, I love Earthquake, too! :D Best move ever, hahaha. I like Swampert, Hypno, Poliwrath, Elekid (moreso than its evolutions), Magmar, Heracross... Alot, in other words. I love the likes of Swampert and Quagsire, because I only have to worry about grass, and a good Ice Punch/Blizzard ban usually handle them.

Thanks, its been pretty weird starting on a completely clean computer. I need to get a new sound card, because I make music in my free time (on the computer, I'm kinda a DJ, but only kinda, lol), ergo a Sound Card is crucial, but the one I'd installed isn't supported by 7 (typically by my luck, it stopped at Vista).
Ugh, I've only recently heard the term Malware, and it already sends shivers down my spine. Seems pretty annoying if they can block you from trying to solve the problem, suppose I should be even more careful now that the computer's connected to the internet.

Agreed, there are some terrible hacks out there. ~PatJamma's~ There's not alot can be done about them, though- the rules are pretty tight as it is, but crap still manages to seep through... Um, sorry, could've phrased that better.

Oh, sorry, I was unclear. Graphics are usually the first thing I look at, should the hacker/game maker decide to use custom/ alternate graphics. Otherwise, I don't really care for graphics in official games.

Lol @game induced nausea. Different kind of 3D, but here's one that gave me alot of headaches- well, not this exactly, but it's the same basic idea:

It's like... If you shoot a Portal above you, then another below you, you could fall forever. I had to take several breaks when playing this, lmao.

So what kinda games are your favourite, then?
Oh, it's no problem, lol. I sometimes get those really lazy spells myself, you'll see...:)
Yeah, I guess a having a steel type early on in the game would... f*** it up, pretty much.
Yeah, hacking really is a gradual process. I remember how I started- I downloaded a package thingwith Elite Map, all the tools that the makers of Elite Map make (such as LIPs, ScriptEd, SpritEd, etc), and a Ruby ROM.
It was horrible! I never thought to copy the ROM before editing something in the map, and utterly destroyed it (using Growl broke the game). Plus, over half of the other tools just didn't work, and at the time I didn't have the internet myself (had a friend download it for me in the first place), so getting a new ROM and actually decent tools was a real pain. Over the following months, though, I got better. I can now do (really basic) scripting, spriting, mapping, etc. I wanted to learn how to do everything myself, so I wouldn't need to depend too much on others, although thankfully a few people are always there whenever I do need a it.
Anyway, my hacking life ended yesterday- I had to format my computer, losing everything, including all progress on my hack (plus the best Image Editor ever, that'd been preinstalled...). Meh, as I say, no use in complaining about what can't be changed. I'll start again in a week or two.

Even then, though, the dragons'll be a bit too powerful for the start of the game. Dratini only has Wrap for an attack for ages, too. I dunno, his hack could use some work in all departments (story, graphics, mapping, etc), but I'm sure he'll improve over time.

I actually find myself really wanting Black and White, lol. Despite the obvious attempts at something fresh (TRIPLE BATTLES?!?!?!), it looks pretty cool, especially graphics wise (I'm a graphics guy, it's usually the first thing I look for, though I know it's not the most important aspect).

    So how're you doing?
'Sup! Sorry, I'm certain I typed a reply to this, musn't have sent it :/
Anyway, I think... Flying>Grass>Rock works. Though that's not 'better' than the Fire>Grass>Water, IMO. It's just the way Nintendo has it, its an excuse not to stray from the same formula. Or something, I don't really know :D
I forget what hack it's in, it's a FireRed one in Progressing Hacks that has Regirock in it, and you battle Roark too. I'll look and see if I can find the name.
I'm glad they don't use the protagonists though, it really makes me sick that some people just do it for the sake of having something new :S New, but not original.
The problem is, people just dive in, thinking it'll be easy. I did, I downloaded a crappy package with EliteMap and a load of other stuff that didn't work properly. I guess, the problem isn't diving in, it's posting the first thing that comes to their heads. Now, I didn't do that :P. They need to give it more time without a thread- they'll always go further, and become more original, that way.
SSJ4 Furanki... Yeah, he's a nice guy, but I actually hate that he does that. He's like the greatest culprit for the whole 'newest official thing= coolness!' thing. As you said it gets worse as more is revealed, he's inserted Munna now, and I'm willing to bet he'll insert the mole thing too. He's not even waiting for english names D: This is an entirely personal thing, here, I'm just very opinionated when it comes to that kinda stuff, so this rant means nothing :D
He's gone with three Dragon starters now, though, Dratini, Bagon and Gible.
Just thought of another triangle- Steel>Rock>Fire. Or you could replace steel with Ice (if Ice is super effective against Rock, I can't remember).
Ah. I.. I can see how that would be discouraging. Well.. I hope it all works out for you. (I'm really sorry, this is what I was talking about).
Anyway, I actually agree, they DO look a bit like Digimon. Especially Zekrom, IMO.
Well, that was exaggeration. There's at least one hack using Pokabu, anyway, which doesn't make sense at all, except for attention's sake. I mean, another thing is that they all use the same sprite for it- one they found in the Resource thread. That just means they saw it, and probably decided on the spot "Ooh, people'll like this". I sprited my own Zoroa/rk for mine, because I genuinely plan on having them for a reason (not story related, just a small side plot thing). I think those two are okay for now, as some of their moves are known, and improvisation for those not known isn't too hard.
Lol, the creator of DarkCopper. He's a reasonably intelligent guy, and mannerly to others (which is more than can be said for some), but alot of his graphics need work, and he does SO many of them, haha.
Oh. Well, I normally encourage my friends to share their problems, but we don't really know each other too well. By all means, feel free, but it depends on how you feel about spilling to a stranger, hehe.
Anyway, the Black and White Pokemon... They're okay, I guess. I'm not crazy about the legendaries, though. Dragons have been done, regardless of what they represent.
I also dislike how so many hacks are featuring the B&W starters- by not waiting even to see the evolutions, it proves that they're doing it purely for the sake of something from Gen 5. Zoroa and Zoroark are okay, though. Not just saying that because I'm using them, lol. What do you think of the new Pokemon, yourself?
    Hi :)
I meant to reply to your last VM, but I'm terrible for consistancy (as you will learn, and as I tell everybody). Anyway, I'm fine thanks. Had a crapload of exams recently, one yesterday, and my last is Thursday, so looking forward to getting it out of the way so I can breathe :D
    How about you?
    Ehm... No. XD
Slovenia is far away from both Czech Republic and Romania.
You must've misunderstood it with Slovakia.

It's near Hungary, which is near Bulgaria, which is near Romania XD
    It's near Italy.
It's near Croatia which is near Bosnia and Serbia.
It's near Austria, which is south of Germany.
