I never had one of the original DS's. The first DS I got was a DS Lite. An it's black. If I had an original DS I'd probably still be using that. Don't see the point in upgrading if it still works properly :P

I do this too, I always decide which ones I want to catch before I start the game and I don't think I've ever changed my mind like half way through the game or anything. But once I've completed the Pokemon league and the after story I'll sometimes switch in new Pokemon from other games to train...

I've always liked Ho-oh better, ever since I played Gold. I always thought Lugia was cool but Ho-oh just seemed so much more amazing to me (Especially when I was little and used to call it HO-HO) :P

I loved Prison Break when it was on. I was obsessed with it haha. But if you're only up to season 2 then I can't really say too much about it as it'd spoil it for you ;) Although to be honest I'd say my favourite season was the first one followed closely by the second.

I like Newton Faulkners cover of Teardrops originally by Massive Attack. Although I prefer the original AND the original was more popular I still like it :)

This is what I do too, I wait until I level someone up an then as soon as they level up I use it. Either that or I'll see who in my team needs levelled up the most, like if someone's lagging behind I'll use it on them :)

I too like Dragon Dance. Firstly, I like the name, haha. Also I like how if it's used just two times, your Pokemons Attack and Speed has doubled. (Err, correct me if I'm wrong though haha) Makes it a really dangerous move if you can get it in.
