I think the issue with a Jynx redesign for an evolution is it might end up being a goofy design like Magmortar is seen as by many. A more elegant design could work, maybe with brown hair.

I think they are afraid to redesign or improvise her design (like how they did to Electabuzz for Electivire); redesigning means they are admiting to the racist intention and might even receive backlash from the fandom, while improvising might create a second racist comment. I prefer May's tomboyish atture in RS and Emerald. {XD} It sets her apart from the other female protagonists.

I used to mind a lot on picking gender for certain games, for examole a Ruby game must have Brendan as a protagonist and May for Sapphire. It sorta carried on this day. Though not as intense as before.

I don't hate it or dislike it. But the Seedot line didn't improve much both stat and moveset wise. No, not talking competitive; Bulbasuar line received a great HA, Roserade has her base stat adjusted and so on. So Seedot just simply remained at the Gen III level for me. :(
