I don't know if anybody else thought of this yet, but early game pokemon challenge. You can only use your starter and the pokemon you catch on the early routes, such as rattata and pidgey. There would be a certain point where you can no longer catch any pokemon, like in rby would be cerulean...

In my opinion he was just annoying. Though he is a little bit cool, he was annoying. His team is very hard to take down if you didn't choose tepig....or if you're a noob like me. I'm not sure how I feel about him, I don't hate him, yet I don't really like him either.
