  • Next weekend sounds fun for you! Haven't seen Mysterious Skin, or anything by Gregg Araki as of yet. Should I check it out?
ngl I haven't ever heard white light/white heat in full, I listened to it right after listening to tvu&n for the first time and not liking it... I do like sister ray though!

I know what you mean by being scared aha, I love/hate whenever someone I really like released a new album as I get scared that I won't like the album and then question everything about the band it's stressful mhm

green machine and 50 million trip are cracking
ooo their self-titled is amazing too I agree! it's a perfect night album, in contrast to that I prefer to listen to tvu&n in the morning. it all depends on mood for me. I know what you mean though, european son kinda blows, but how can you not like i'll be your mirror?? the ending is hilarious with the backing vocals and it's just femme fatale replaced with another beautiful melody

I'll get on that asap mhm. what did you think of strangers to ourselves?

I can't say I'm well revised in metal too, but as far as I know I still say kyuss is metal's tvu because their stuff, while not being commercially successful apparently have had a huge influence in underground metal or something. I'm not entirely sure tbh but if that is true I mean that's the same thing with tvu and rock music.

if you are going to check out other stuff from kyuss I say start with blues for the red sun before going on to their final album. just get ready for the thickest guitar tone you've ever heard, it'll really feel like you are being beaten down by the harsh desert sun.
I love all of their albums (besides the last one but that wasn't really a vu album was it lmao), especially loaded but the velvet underground and nico is definitely my favourite. there she goes again and femme fatale are bliss

hey, I've being listening to modest mouse lately! I liked good news and I plan to check their other stuff out too. guided by voices are cool too!

space cadet is magical to me, and sky valley is basically perfect stoner. I consider kyuss as the velvet underground of metal :dd
actually, add this sheffield band called dead sons to that list too, they've disbanded now unfortunately but I love them regardless
hey thanks!! that's very nice of you m8

favourite favourite bands ever... I would say the strokes (is this it and room on fire are LEGENDARY STATUS), queens of the stone age, the velvet underground, pink floyd, spoon, kyuss, nirvana and the white stripes. they are my favourite favourite so basically play nearly any record of them and we can be friends forever. wbu??
