the same exact thing happened to me man what you wanna do is leave it off for a week, DONT SAVE OVER IT, then turn it back on and it should be back, if that doesnt work put in pokemon ruby or sapphire, save, and the turn it back on.

well on gameboy sp its holding AB and start + select and that restarts it without doing same damage as switching it off and on fast

on leafgreen i traded my eevee to sapphire and evolved it to espeon, then i traded my eevee from firered to ruby and evolved it to umbreon

nintendo makes it a legendary. if they say its a legendary, then its a legendary.we have freedom of speech and can say its a legendary but in the end whatever nintendo says goes

they save in front of the legendary, then they soft reset for 24 hours straight.

Ever stone? I like evolution for all of hoenn starters, and Johto, I don't like how blastoise looks so if i ever pick squirtle i wouldn't let it evolve.
