Honestly? Giovanni. As a Gym Leader, he's the only one that really gave me a challenge (both in the original Red, and the remake) before hitting up the Elite Four. Not to mention, he's the equivalent of having a mob boss as the frontman of a nationwide corporation.

I want to do your DoB challenge, but I'm having problems with Pokemon number 5. I'll be playing FireRed, and I was born in December, so that means it's a black Pokemon... what Pokemon are black in FireRed? Am I supposed to be looking for literally black, or does the dark gray color work too?

The only one I've played is Black 2, so my opinion is based on that game. The easiest was Marshall. I've never had problems with Fighting-type gym leaders, so Fighting-type Elite Four was no problem either. The hardest was Shauntal. Damn her and that Golurk. I HATE fighting Golurk.
