Well... the thing about my teacher is that she stopped aging when she was 10. She has the body and brain of a 10 year old. Time travel was involved, and she has difficulty speaking English because she's technically from about 200 years in the past.

So yeah. Most awkward relationship ever.

Haha, believe it or not this is totally the first time we've directly roleplayed together. But yeah. That's Olivia for you. She flirts, she's affectionate, she gets attached easily. You also walked in on the beginning of my shameless romances~

The only person without a romance now is my teacher, and...that's...yeah. My teacher is weird.

It's the phrasing.

Instead of "Skitty has a 30% chance to infatuate with it's Cute Charm ability" you could say "It's dangerous to directly attack a skitty because they have the tendency to make other pokemon fall in love with them."

Also, for the record infatuation is not necessarily limited to the opposite gender. PMD rules say gender isn't even a factor, for instance, so it's a bit of a controversy within the series.

It's the way she phrased it. |D She could do it without the awkward, insane sounding phrasing, and people would probably respect her more.

There's no way to make game mechanics sound like legitimate research without actually heavily changing the way they're phrased. Real statistics don't sound like roleplaying game ones, and you certainly can /not/ use terms like 'physical vs special' and not get funny looks. It just doesn't make sense outside of a video game, y'know?

It's also kind of immersion breaking, if you don't mind me saying. >=P

They're all right, but they don't exist in the actual Pokemon world. :P Anybody listening is going to think she's insane if you don't rephrase any game logic to sound less like game mechanics.
