Mew's been shiny locked in every event except for the Old Sea Chart in Japanese Emeralds. The event had a very limited distribution and was supposed to be locked. It wasn't by mistake. People didn't soft reset for it and RNG abusing didn't exist back then. If you find a shiny mew RNG'ed from that event, it was gotten by hacking in the event into the games years later, making it a hack. Any other shiny mew was created with an Action Replay, PokeSav or things of the like. So they are all banned from being traded.

Well we don't know if it's all shinies, yet tons of people complained to GameFreak about the shiny lock and oras has only been out for a couple of days so people have slowly encountered shinies and now seeing basically all shinies obtainable, I doubt there is only 1 or two locked..it seems everything is obtainable. Great replay value in this game.

No the shiny lock was introduced in later games, and basically you couldn't find a certain pokemon shiny. The orignal ruby and sapphire weren't shiny locked and Im glad they allow us to find shiny legendary pokemon now. They introduced the shiny lock I believe in black and white, and it made you un able to get shiny legendaries like reshiram or zekrom unless you hack. Yet now you can find shinies

I was saying it's good there is no shiny lock in Oras. Then I said why did they ever make the shiny lock? It made me mad

You have to switch 2 boxes out. One that has the Pokemon in it and another box that has no Pokemon. I don't know if you can do more than 1 box at a time though. There is also Mass Dumper, but I haven't used it. How many eggs are you checking?

I'm pretty sure it was a flaw since you can put fake event Pokemon up (just look for Diancie). Also, people probably don't understand that you can't trade event Pokemon or don't know that you can't trade them.

Go to the very bottom. There is an option below Z that says What Pokemon? When you click it, it will take you to the keyboard. Just type in the Pokemon's name (you have to make sure it is spelt correctly) and you can look for Pokemon you haven't seen.

Your TSV is 1492. The numbers before that are the IVs of those 2 Pokemon (Pichu has 31 IV in HP and 31 IV in Speed). If you want either of these Pokemon back, just ask.
