My team is all at lv 55. I won't challenge Volkner before I get all of them to lv 57.

A suggestion: Don't you think its a bad idea to use giratina and ruin all its EVs by using it in fights with normal trainers? If its EV trained then its ok though........

My pokemon currently at Mt.Coronet before fighting those grunts and commanders and Cyrus: Lv 52 Espeon, Lv 52 Luxray, Lv 54 Staraptor, Lv 53 Garchomp, Lv 55 Empoleon, Lv 19 Bibarel (slave). I didn't need to train them(in wild pokemon) after I trained them till lv43 or so.

But to get something(high sp attk and good attacks for lucario) you have to lose something(your time and you have to be patient!). No problem! Its totally on you how to train it. Good luck on it! Cyrus is pretty tough! I wasn't able to defeat him the last time I played platinum with my lv 49 Four pokemon team: Luxray,Empoleon,Crobat and one more(I forgot which one!).I have restarted my game. I am currently in Hearthome city and my team is: lv 42 eevee, lv 40 gabite, lv 42 empoleon, lv 40 staraptor and lv 40 luxray. I know that they are obviously over leveled but I like to train them a lot.(BTW I play on an emulator and thus can play at double the speed at what you can play!)

Train them as you like! It totally depends on you.:P Can you explain why you are ev training lucario's attack even though his sp attk is stronger and he learns some good sp attacks too?(Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Psychic)
