MonoSpectator

Hello! My name is MonoSpectator. I'm currently fifteen years old and am unemployed. I'd rather have a job, but with how my current circumstances are, it can't really be helped. I love to keep myself busy and hate to waste time, as it is a precious thing. My dream is to get my PhD in psychology and work with those who fall into the 'abnormal' psychology category (i.e schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, etc.) I also wish to become a novelist and at least publish one fictional novel before I die.

I can say that, overall, I've been living pretty well. I'm an generally friendly person if you're also friendly to me. You know how the whole "do unto others" saying goes. I've gone through enough rough patches in my life with 'friends' suddenly turning on me and turning out to be very cruel people.

I love to make people smile. It makes my day to just know that I've been able to make someone grin. There's enough sadness in the world already and we shouldn't be spending out time making things worse by frowning. If you're ever down and out, I'd gladly be willing to listen to anyone's problems and try my very best to cheer them up.

A bit about my history and my discover of PC:

Going through school, I've always been a rather quiet person. I normally didn't bother to make too many friends and the friends I did make usually didn't stick around too long. It's always been a difficult thing to find a good friend. I've definitely gone through my share of harsh teasing for the things I liked, but I was content since I later realized that these people would soon not amount to much and probably be traveling down a path that would ruin their life. Even so, their teasing did hurt and left 'scars' that last. I usually would retreat to my sanctuary which would be anything from my computer to a notebook to a sketchpad. Through the years, I've found that there's no better way to get away from so much of the horrors of the world than to immerse yourself in the arts.

As I got into a private high school, I started to become a bit more outgoing, but even now I still only have about 3 really good 'RL' friends. To be honest, I like it that way too. They are some of the best friends I could ask for.

I've been into Pokemon ever since I was a kid and it's kind of stuck with me ever since. I've played Pokemon from every generation and I don't think I'll ever stop being a fan. When I was about six or seven I even had a huge amount of cards for the card game. God knows how many Pokemon plushies I had too X3. I happened upon PokeCommunity very recently as I was looking at popular Pokemon ROM hacks. I heard that PC was a hub for a large amount of popular hacks and decided to check it out. What I found was a wonderful Pokemon site that has everything a Pokemon fan could need.

All in all, I'm glad to be a member of this forum community ^-^

Just a little side note, if you'd like to talk with me on Skype I'd ask that you at least have a fair friendly relationship with me here on PC before we go as far as Skyping ^^

It'd be easier if I listed my interests X3 I have so many things I like to do, after all. So, here goes nothing:

Things I do in my spare time would be drawing, writing, roleplaying, singing, playing piano and violin, using UTAU, ROM Hacking (I'm very new to it,) podcasting, playing video games (I love gaming, so if you wanna chat about it, feel free to message me!), watching anime/reading manga OR webcomics (Homestuck, woo~), and reading in general.

I do like yaoi, so if you wanna chat about that, I'm always up for it~ ^-^
