I ask this because I plan on him being a "problem child" that won't listen to Shun until . . . well, until I decide that he should, lol. Until then, he won't do much in battles, so it won't really show how strong he is until he starts listening to Shun.

It was called the New League, and lasted for five and a half months. It was set in Sinnoh and we got to Valor Lakefront, which is handsdown the farthest I've gotten with a rp.

Right, Slls was a beast, keeping a roleplay going for so long! I don't know how he did it either, though I think part of it is that it was mostly very simple. Out of my own experience, chapter roleplays with big convoluted and well-thought-out plots tend to die earlier than simple, straight-forward roleplays. My own longest-lasting one was something similar to this one, except that instead of the future it was simple set in the Pokemon80s, t'was all very groovy (;

But for me it's also a bit intimidating, especially planning for the future instead of adapting to the past. This roleplay is set about 50/60 years in the future, but I didn't want thing to get too futuristic, and I have to balance everything and think of what would be changed to adapt to a more advanced populace. Good thing the original Pokemon world wasn't all that technologically savvy anyway.

Yush. It's fun though, thinking how everything would be in the future.

When I'm stuck on trying to describe a route, I often look at others or my own past roleplays to do up a bit of inspiration and help think up small event to keep things interested (:
