I've never used any of them iirc. Usually when I'm filling out my party in the games I want something a little easier to get my hands on. In gen 2 at least, you need to have a specific phone number and then see if the RNG will trigger the phone call and the resulting swarm.

Basically no. If remakes are ok, then Diamond/Pearl is on the Switch via its remakes in BDSP, and Gen 1 (sorta) via Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. Other than that, the older gens aren't available on the Switch eShop in any fashion.
