I say you should think about the name as you do everything else. that matches the plot, maybe name it after a "Legendary Pokemon" in the game(suggestion).

to me, a turnoff is: low quality, over powerred pokemon(one's that the ods to beating them = way out of your league). low plot, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ and that's more or less it.
