The HD update was beautiful. And the map is so huge there are large bases for each civilization and a huge ice covered lake sits in the middle. Sometimes it's hard to tell if units are moving on the mini-map, though, and the damn AI will all join a team against me if I don't force them to be locked into teams from the start.

I was merely stating my opinion as fact. :P

Objectively the best map for multiplayer is a LudiKRIS sized Black Forest map. Even larger than the Giant maps the original AoE2 had. Enables very, very long multiplayer games.

According to my 4-day on my phone, we won't get back up near seasonal until Thursday.

I would have if I could have. But no unit aside from a couple types of ships (Fishing Boat, Transport Ship) costs only wood. The wood was mostly to fuel my food generating engine that was something like 50 farms near the end of the game.
