I like Alien and Perfume, Chillin With You is annoying and repetitious. I'm missing that pop sound Britney's gotten me used to... is it a ballad album or what? :|

Neither do I, and while it's out of place on the album, I still give it a listen each time because of how pretty is. I also despised it the first time I heard it, but my friend convinced me to listen to it a couple more times and since then I've really loved it. I think I felt the same way about Gypsy, since it's a little slow at first, too. But now it's one of my favorites.

In any case... anything else you've been listening to lately? I like talking to you about music. :) Or whatever you want to talk about ha

Do What U Want is okay but I don't like the rest you mentioned. Besides Dope; you really don't like it?

I found out the other night I can't listen to it all the way through from beginning to end without skipping some tracks, though, which is disappointing. I have a habit of always skipping Aura (what the hell even is that song?), Jewels N' Drugs, and Fashion!. Not sure why, they just make my ears bleed. Also, I'm a wee bit upset ARTPOP still hasn't cleared 400,000 sold units. What's up with that?

yeah I know exactly what you mean. I wasn't expecting the type of dramatic sounds that were on Lungs (going back to Florence + the Machine), but I had high hopes for songs along the lines of the material on The Fame Monster which is my favorite album of hers to date.

and while I love ARTPOP, I think the song ARTPOP, G.U.Y, Venus, maybe Swine, Dope, and Gypsy will actually live on as daily listens for more than a few months
