I love Delphox simply because it's not a Fire/Fighting-type like nearly every other Fire-type starter Pokemon. Sylveon is up there too because it really is an amazing team member. Kudos to Talonflame for being Fire/Flying instead of Normal/Flying.

I never use the EXP. Share in 6th Gen. games. It sort of feels like a cheat to me, whereas in previous generations it was a challenge to make sure all your Pokemon were leveling up at a steady pace. Therefore I just train all my Pokemon the old fashioned way.

I chose Mudkip. There are plenty of great Grass-types to choose from, especially early on in the game (Shroomish, anyone?). On this playthrough I'm opting out of using a Fire-type on my team. I have other types that cover what Fire-types are strong against.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention; not long after KTK was released, I went to my local card shop and bought just a single booster pack and got a Wooded Foothills! Fetch Lands are great. :D

I'm reading Freedom Summer: The Savage Season of 1964 That Made Mississippi Burn and Made America a Democracy by Bruce Watson right now. It's a required read for the university I'm attending this Fall, but it's decent.
