I've actually stayed in a few so-called "luxury" hotels (Sheraton, Hyatt, Marriott). The lobbies were nice and fancy, but the rooms themselves weren't any better than the $70 places I usually stay at. Nowadays when we travel, we usually try to stay as cheap as we can without sinking into those super low-budget brands. Usually we like to stay at the three Choice Hotel brands, Sleep, Comfort, and Quality. Prices are reasonable and the rooms are usually pretty good.
I know, I told them, if you guys want to stay there on your own, fine, but if I'm with you guys, we're staying somewhere nicer - even if I have to pay the difference xD I really don't care for insects much either, even though my favorite TV villain is a guy who transforms into a giant bee creature :P So, I take it you probably don't train too many bug Pokemon, right?
Thanks! DOn't worry, it's not a mainstream series anyway (though both her name and the name of the series are listed right on it xD). But you should totally do a signature relating to the '78 Mercury Grand Marquis :P
Now, oddly enough I didn't have any real crazy teachers till college (though my 7th grade science teacher was busted for, let's say, "inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature" with some of his students). Dr. Moyle, my physics professor, would go on and on about weird stuff, like his POS car (an '86 Dodge Omni), blowing up the lab, his cat doing strange things (lol) and creative ways to use science to hurt people xD As I said, really strange guy.
Besides him, not really so much crazy as just plain bad. In my grad school program, I had a slew of professors from India and China who couldn't teach well at all because, quite frankly, they couldn't speak English well at all. This one guy, Dr. Zhu was particularly nasty. He couldn't speak clearly, couldn't write clearly, and didn't really care if students passed or failed. Now, picture doing the equivalent of a 15-20 page paper. By hand. Except most of the words are replaced by math formulas, proofs, and a whole lot of Greek letters. Now picture doing one of those every week for the entire semester. That's pretty much what his homework assignments were like. It's a wonder I even passed that class.
I should mention my Spanish 202 class in college that was basically a repeat of what I learned in 7th grade Spanish class, but I'm not one to complain about an easy "A" xD.
Now I just gotta get you hooked on anime xD
