Exactly! Apparently on their site they had put that you only need to clean your Gerbil out every TWO years, and that rabbits don't need to be moved indoors/in a garage in Winter! I'm sure the clean out every two years was a typo... I hope.

That's exactly what I did with Pikachu & Bean. They have such a great start to life, as they're well cared for before you buy them.

Some of the conditions are /terrible! They get from a mass breeding market, which IS for profit. (When we went to get justice for Mindy & Misty, they were denying everything; saying their Gerbils are the right age -which they're clearly not- and that they buy off a small business breeder.) I wish I could of brought Pikachu & Bean in to show them what a PROPER, 7-week old Gerbil looks like. They store animals in the back of the warehouse, so they can bring them out when another is sold/dies. Urgh, it's disgusting.
Graeme was in a tiny cage too -- Me and my Mum went in on a Wednesday to get him, but they keep Rescues in quarantine for 3 days. He was proper bouncy and energetic, but when we returned on the Friday, he was curled up at the back of the cage, and looked slightly ill. We were unsure whether to get him, as we didn't want the same thing as what happened to Mindy & Misty to happen to him. But then again, we couldn't just leave him. Luckily he's fine now.

Same here -- I have to go for dog food & rodent stuff. They do have a great range in (like Woodland's stuff) -- shame theres nowhere else near that sells it.

The sizes of the cages are terrible. They had 5 rats in a tiny cage -- There was a Woodland's wooden house in there (which took up 3/4 of the space) and the rats could hardly get in it due to the amount of space between the door of it and the cage window.

I'm like that with Graeme -- He's so lonely; sitting by himself on the other side of the room, watching the two girls opposite! Though it's not as bad, because we bought Graeme on his own (We didn't split him up from anyone -- Though I think he was with another Gerbil with his previous owner, but was bullied) Whereas when we lost Misty, I felt so, so sorry for Mindy, because she wasn't used to it.

We went the other day, and the Gerbils look so weak -- compared to Bean & Hazel who were sold at 7 weeks from a small petshop; They were a nice size and weight, no signs of illness and coats that pretty much sparkled! Poor Pets at Home Gerbils have sparky fur, & are so tiny & inactive.

That's so touching... ;__; I totally agree -- obviously, your really upset, but theres a flicker of ease at the fact they're not in pain anymore.
After Misty died, Mindy seemed so upset. Beforehand, she wouldn't let me pick her up, but after Misty's death, she suddenly became really tame and sat huddled on my arm for hours. Though the day after she was ill herself. Argh, the thought of them... They looked more like hunched Voles more than Gerbils. Stupid Pets at Home!

I'm so sorry. I'm not sure, but is that bloat? (Bloat sounds something like that); Irish Setters are prone to it, & my Mums old Setter died of it at the age of 4 -- as surgrey for it was too risky.
We always have to keep Willow still for half an hour after she's eaten, otherwise her stomach will bloat. My Mum burps her, too. x33

Oh wow, that sounds epic! When I had a go, they had a card on the table, and little targets popped up from it on the DSi screen, then the table started swirling inwards and you had to shoot the targets.
We're in the same boat -- I really want one but don't have enough money; though I certainly don't regret getting my DSi. I'm just scared they'll make a 3DS only Pokemon Game before I own a 3DS. xD
