Lydia froze at the revelation, blushing. Matilda chuckled. "Don't tell me you didn't know! It was...quite obvious sometimes," Matilda mumbled to Lydia, and thinks ahead. "Lydia! Come! Day dream later!"
"Oh oh okay! Kip use Mud Bomb!" she quickly said. Her Marshtomp prepared for the attack, and aimed at the Solrock, but the pokemon easily dodged it. "Weeee have to work on your accuracy," she stated. Matilda didn't hesitate.
"Sleep Powder!" she commanded as the Solrock approached. Quickl letting out the poison, it was able to sink into Solrock, but the Rock Slide impacted the Venusaur. Able to dust herself off, Matilda smiled as she watched the Solrock teeter back and forth. "Now use Vine Whip!" Venus extended her vines, able to grasp the Solrock and slam it down, up and down, up and down, and so on. Kip on the other hand, was having a very hard time with Lunatone, the twin who was more experienced.
"Lunatone, use Confusion!" Liza ordered, the moon-like pokemon's eyes glowing red. Suddenly Kip felt like being lifted, a glowing light sorrounding his body. He tried to break himself free by using Water Gun, Mud Bomb, and any moves, yet none would hit the Lunatone nor work. "Smash him down!" she spoke loudly. The Lunatone threw Marshtomp down, making him wince at the pain.
"Kip!" Lydia blurted out, worried. He was able to get up, although scratches were all over him. "Use Water Gun!" she ordered. Kip ran up to the Lunatone and let out a sprout of Water, impacting the pokemon. As much as Kip tried, Lunatone kept looking clean and without injury. She was baffled.
"Hypnosis!" she revealed, her Lunatone's eyes glowing as it stared down at Kip.
"Kip! Get out of there!" she yelled, but it was already too late. Hypnotized, he fell to the ground with a loud THUD. She grew worried. Glancing around, she realized that Matilda was winning against the Solrock, who was already asleep. "Matilda!" she called.
"Got it. Venus, use Razorleaf!" she responded back, adding an order. Her Venusaur did as she was told, letting out leaves. Lunatone dodged a few and released a Psybeam, which hit Venusaur in the dead center. Struggling to keep up, Lydia tried to wake up Kip, hoping he could wake up by the time Solrock was awake. "Use Poison Powder!" Poison was shaken out of Venus' leaves, sticking on to Lunatone's rock-hard skin. The Solrock started to rise, still drowsy, as well as Kip. "Yessss...Kip! Use Water on yourself or som," Matilda gave advice to the Marshtomp, who was yawning. He did as Lydia's friend told, splashing some of his own water at himself. Right away he felt alive.
"Now use Water Gun at Solrock!" Lydia ordered, while Lunatone was using Psychic on Venusaur. Kip's Water Gun impacted the Solrock, yet it remained standing.
"Use Psybeam!" Tate ordered. The Psybeam hit Kip, although he was able to withstand the attack. "Use..umm...well," she thought of some move, yet Kip suddenly had the urge to try a new move. Lifting his hands, he started to release spiraling brown water from underneath him. "It's..uh..."
"Muddy Water," Matilda mumbled, surprised. "Tell him to use it!" she screamed at the confused Lydia.
"Oh ok..um...use Muddy Water!" she ordered. Kip nodded, and glanced at both enemies before opening his mouth and releasing muddy water at the Lunatone, letting Venusaur fall down as he was released from the Psychic.
