    1st Gen The Master Ball

I first used it on a Ditto in Red cuz it turned into a Venusaur and I got scared. A few attempts failed, so I went for it.

    Best HM moves

Surf, Fly, Strength + Waterfall are my favourites. Dig + Headbutt were somewhat decent. Rock Smash, Flash + Cut would be decent rookie moves. Defog + Whirlpool.....uuuugh!!!

1st Gen How Would You Rank The Difficulty of Kanto Gym Leaders?

Brock: Ya gotta admit, even for Charmander + Pikachu as starters, you could always train a Butterfree or a Mankey (Yellow) to make life easier. Low difficulty. Misty: Charmander'll be your main problem for R+B, but there's Viridian Forest's Pikachu + Oddish/Bellsprout N of Cerulean. Low-medium...

1st Gen Moveset for starters pokemon

Thankfully, it's Gen1 + Razor Leaf tends to crit most of the time, no need to hope! 😂 For me, it's Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf + Solarbeam. I notice yall don't go for Solarbeam. Yea, I know it's 2 turns, but it's a heavy hitting skill. Edit: Charizard: Fly, Flamethrower, Slash + Rage...

    1st Gen Genwunners are misunderstood

For me, it was the anime. When I played Red, I felt as if I was going on an epic adventure with my Bulbasaur, seeing where the road'll lead me. Flooring the same gym leaders Ash tried to beat made me excited beyond belief, seeing that Jigglypuff in Pewter Center, having the Gym Guide "remind" me...

1st Gen The Exclusive Insects! [November 2017]

Gotta personally go for the dual-type. Also, Scyther gets Wing Attack in Yellow, coupled w/ Swords Dance, it's the more compelling choice.

1st Gen 1st gen mechanics to drive you crazy

The Limitless PP glitch the enemy had was a pain, even revisiting the E4, especially Agatha spamming Hypnosis + Confuse Ray. Gen3 Agatha has her pros and cons, but Gen1 Agatha is a beast!

    1st Gen Buying Magikarp

I bought one in Red the first time I played, but not since. But the argument of a Gyarados before Vermilion intrigues me.
  9. Palmer-Granate

    1st Gen The Starter Pikachu

I raised my Pikachu during my initial run, and continue to use it, Chu's really captured most of the atmosphere in Yellow, plus, none too terrible against E4's water types lol

    1st Gen The Daycare

I used it a couple times during my first time playing Red, but as soon as one of my moves was replaced, I just stopped using it. At least w/ Gen 2's egg system, I'd see myself having a reason to use it, but not so much Gen 1.

2nd Gen Favorite Gen 2 Fire type.

Aside from the obvious bias towards Typlosion, Entei and Ho-Oh, I'll go with the Magcargo line, Houndoom line and Magby. I know I've covered the entirety of Johto's fire types, but I like em all. Magmar was always one of my favourite Fire types in Kanto, so although weak in battle, Magbys...

2nd Gen Favorite gen 2 flying type?

I'd consider my favourite Gen2 Bird to be the Legendaries, who are tied. I cannot argue against Sacred Fire or Aeroblast. Then the rest of my list; Crobat, Skarmory, Noctowl (three of which I've used in the GBA versions, Noctowl is tough at a high level, and I'm a fan of the Hypnosis/Dream...

2nd Gen Which starter are you choosing in Crystal?

Although Chikorita is my least favourite in terms of battling, but it's tied for 2nd w/ Cyndaquil in terms of favourite. I'm primarily a Totodile fan (if you couldn't tell from my pfp) I used Totodile in Silver, Cyndaquil in Gold, leaving Chikorita for Crystal. Turns out, there's a lot of...

2nd Gen I played the theme for Azalea/Blackthorn on the flute!

Wow, duud, you must have put in a lot of effort into covering that tune. Nice job! It's the sorta jam that goes great w/ a cup of coffee!

    2nd Gen Your Whitney Strategy

I tend to prep a Heracross, and I also tend to grind like no tomorrow, so I can soften the Clefairy, then see how I do w/ Miltank. I'll end up trying a strategy, such as Sand-Attack or Hypnosis, worst case, but I find that she gets easier to beat w/ age.
