It was a rather laid-back, last assignment for my animation class.
While it doesn't usually look as "alive" as frame to frame, key frames and puppet pin tools are VERY time-efficient ways to animate! :D

Here's a "full" frame-by-frame animation I've done, though! It's rather fun if you're not dealing with many details.

Hey I have a question. Have you ever made an almost angry or irritated post? Like say on a thread where someone was talking about "how every gen but gen one sucked?". Something like that?

Idk i was just annoyed reading how people are complaining about the new starters and even past generation pokemon being, by their standards, "un-creative" and "uninspiring".

Well both are possible seeing as I'm taking both in my web design class. Its just I have way more motivation and inclination towards illustration.

But...i dont have anything I can post to have critiqued, but sometimes I just lack inspiration, and when I do get inspiration, I'm rarely in a position to be able to do anything. And I think I just need more experience drawing overall, cuz in artistic skill, I would rate myself about above the average person, but mediocre at best with everyone else.

PS: How do you like how I re-arranged my profile colors?

Wait, pokemon animation? As in a sprite animation like in games? That's supposed to go in Pixel Art, tbh. And if you wanna make a gallery of rough sketches you can do so. Even if those sketches are old.

I always draw "key frames" and then fill in the motions between, like what position is exactly between these two, and between those two, and so forth, so it usually turns out pretty smooth that way. Dunno if it's the best way of doing things though haha.

Actually, drawing scenery would be really fun! :D
If you get a really, really good idea or feeling to convey, scenery can be so beautiful. I usually don't draw scenery only partly because it's so time consuming and partly because it's so much more difficult to create a connection with the viewer without a human character.

Glad you didn't have to endure it too much. :D And haha, it is fine, I guess. Just don't forget A&D completely, y'know. I'm not gonna be too active either, yeah. School really does take away quite a lot of my time during these few months of the year. February and March being particularly busy months for me. So yeah, I guess I know how you feel. ;~;

:D Wow that all sounds super amazing. You have a great memory! Too bad memories of my younger childhood is pretty hazy. Anyway, I'd love to see one for myself too! I wonder how it would differ now than how you described. I'd surely buy some merchandise if I got the chance...which might not but any time soon sadly but one day. I do agree the younger kids get the most out of it, but i say better late than never.

Oh and thanks for liking the vid, :D although you should look at the deviant art page of the owner. But yea I absolutely love the art and the video.(lucky girl...) One of my long term goals is to become a better artist so I can create my own works.

Yea i dont like pesky insects either. But, err dont hold me to this but i'm pretty sure the gators are confined to everglades area and not really the urban areas. But I have seen some Gator intrusion stories on TV but i'm sure where exactly.

My parents always say they'll start traveling with me more but it never happened. But, :o what does a Pokemon Center look like?

Haha yea. I live down towards the Miami area. Florida only has one season :P, But that being so, I kinda have a disliking for cold weather...or extremely hot. I like it when its in the middle.

However, I am sad to say I've never been able to venture out of Florida(not even past the Orlando/central Florida area). So yea its kinda boring for me. I'd like to go out and experience all the seasons and what not. You could say I live under a rock cuz I've barely experience all the wonders and things to see down here as well :L.
