They are. It's a new "design choice" that a lot of computer-makers are getting into, and it is soooooo terrible for soooooo many reasons.

Also, there's an indent on the trackpad that, if you touch it twice, locks the trackpad and ceases all function of it until you double-tap it again. I don't even see how that could have ever been anything but inconvenient.

By the way, this is the arrow key thing I'm talking about:

THIS one. Apparently on most sites it isn't even worthy of being reviewed by anyone. Oh, and when it says HD, it actually means lowest-quality-I've-ever-seen-on-a-computer resolution.

It even has the stupid half-size up and down arrow keys... Worst functionality choice EVER. Actually, the trackpad is even worse.

If by tune-up, you mean a replacement, then absolutely. ASAP.

Yeah, I wanted to get a laptop I saw, but we went to a different store. I picked one out, they didn't have it. I settled for a lesser one, they didn't have it either. I ended up with this thing, and I think it knows how much I hate it.

Meh, I've used both before, I can't leave PC. I used to have a perfect Laptop (my first one too) but this one is just a hunk of junk sometimes.

That's why I want to get a custom Laptop. Like, a thousand-or-two dollar custom laptop. THen I could be happy with it foreverrrrrrr

Or, at least something better than this. HP is dissapointing me... I miss my Sony Vaio. (It broke, I brought it to High School every day and my backpack was not cushioned well enough, and it stopped working. Also, I fell on it once, because low iron blackouts and whatnot)

I "settled" five times when I got stuck with this laptop. I can't even play Minecraft or run SNES or N64 games on it without it being laggy or freezing up >:c

Wind Waker was a lot of fun, too. I like the story and cinematics of Twilight Princess (favorite 3D Zelda) and I love the gameplay and music of A Link to the Past (favorite 2D Zelda). Then again, I love pretty much all Zeldas I've played. Majora's Mask I never got past the Deku Mask saga, timed games still stress me out.

Of course my computer just failed on me in the middle of writing the response >.<

If it wasn't inherently obvious, Link is practically my idol. In fact, I sometimes feel as though I should be in that role. Zelda games are my favorite ever, and I swear if I grew my hair out I'd look perfect for the role (I think so, anyway.) Twilight Princess is my favorite.

Oh yeah, and the elf-ears thing comes from a magical tattoo he got that allows him to use his powers without any sort of wand or writing or speech.

He's absolutely crazy, but he doesn't like to hear it.
