You probably misinterpreted EndSpeech. EndSpeech is triggered when defeating the trainer and will then be shown while in battle. For the use case you described, you will have to define EndBattle in the same way as EndSpeech. For reference: http://pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiki/Trainers

^ Nailed it. Of course, many developers here want their game to be enjoyed by as many people as possible and those sites are helping achieving that goal. It is really sour to see that some people get praised for all your hard work though, and that happens a lot, sadly :(

I've found various websites that uploaded my work without notifying me and without mentioning me, and I can't say I liked it. The Pokémon Essentials Wikia page for Essentials games is enough for me.

That's an issue with the .gif file, I'd recommend searching another one.

Keep in mind that the animated gifs will increase lag. RPG Maker XP's performance isn't that great and animated sprites will bring the performance down even more.

I actually loved all of them, except Chikorita. Piplup's line is my favorite, but you might have guessed that already ;)

I didn't hate the RSE graphics, but FRLG was definitely better in terms of visuals in my opinion. RSE had the better region though, Kanto is a bit too simple.

Dragon Age Inquisition without a doubt. It looks absolutely spectacular, the music is great (dat title theme <3) and I expect yet another great story from Bioware.

What do you guys think of Empoleon/Dusknoir in the current format and the next one? I feel like playing my beloved penguin, but I'm not sure how well it will fare in this meta with all the ridiculous basic Pokémon flying around.

You should try finding a few friends to play with (a gaming clan for example). Worked wonders for me :)
