It wasn't really worthy of moving and merging with the thread I pointed you towards. It wasn't a discussion, it was something that gets a direct answer. There wasn't much of anything that anyone else could have added. But don't worry about it, it happens. No need to apologize. :)

I don't really see how it was rude, she merely followed her own forums established rules and closed your thread as per the aforementioned rules. Maybe it could have been moved to the Quick C & A, but that wasn't necessary as she had already answered your question. It's not a discussion topic, a straightforward question should not have multiple opinions.

Look, this was a thread that was asking for help rather than "what other members had to say" which translates to a discussion topic. Which it wasn't, Second, your question(s?) were answered so that should be fine in my opinion. Third, on topic it may have been, but in the wrong area it was. The way you are complaining is like if someone posted a Quick Trade Thread request in the Trade Shops forum, rather than the thread. On topic it would have been, but in the wrong sub section. Fourth I feel you are over reacting, loose staff who don't follow their own guidelines like they did now make for a loose forum that ultimately fails (I saw a post by a super moderator on your forum that broke the Trade rules). Fifth, Sydian is a female.

Yeah, people go nuts when new stuff is released. Kinda like how there was more activity in the X and Y forums because of the new information reveals. Are you following all the E3 information?
