First time playing through Ruby I was trying to catch Groudon with ultra balls... So about the third attempt the Groudon that appears is... Gold. Since I was young and foolish, I thought the game had some glitch in it. So i killed it. FML. I still have that Ruby file too if I remember correctly...

GSC for sure, especially between Chikorita and Totodile. Feraligatr was my first lvl 100, and Chikorita makes the game nice and difficult... Sometimes I got all three using that glitch :p Cyndaquil really made the game too easy. Typhlosion is cool but I've never cared for the fire starters...
