What were your thoughts on his return?I watched it twice just waiting for the english dub version to release.

The Ash fanbase and Anti-Paul extremists are delusional if they think Ash is superior to Paul in every aspect of a trainer.

Yeah he should've participated in it,I consider him to be the most competitive trainer in the entire series.Hopefully it's revealed that he either became a Frontier Brain or lost in the lower rankings of the PWC to a formidable opponent.

Paul's returning in Journeys but apparently isn't in the PWC.What are your thoughts?

Paul because he's a savage and I personally think he's the most skilled and most competitive trainer in the entire series.

Advanced Generation because it featured my favorite version of Ash and he had a balanced team.DP had better contest battles but AG had better contest rivals,they were good substitutes for Ash not having one.The Hoenn gym battles and Ever Grande Conference were really good,Ash made it all the way...

Hoenn Ash seems the most balanced for me.He took his role as a trainer more seriously,as a character he became more mature but at times showed glimpses of his old self from OS.The other versions are either lacking in one category or in both for me. OS Ash was an entertaining character but...

Paul should've made a return before Dawn and Cynthia who already reappeared in BW.Gary made countless returns since late AG.Paul had the biggest impact on Ash as a trainer as far as rivals go,having him come back in a BW credits and a flashback cameo in Journeys is just sad.

I wanted him to return in BW but it never happened,there's been talks of a DP remake not sure if that's true.
