Sorry if I sounded like a ***** in my fanfic. I'm just a very self-conscious person with zero confidence. I'm used to being told that what I'm doing isn't good enough, so I don't usually recognize helpful advice when it's given unless there's an "it's pretty good" or "don't get me wrong, I like it but..."

It might seem shallow, but what I had would have been called decent for my school's writing assignment as short story, so I thought it was good.
