So I put in a support ticket at pokemon.com, asking why a rocket version hasn't been made. Naturally, I got a pre-canned response. I'd be willing to bet that if a lot of people asked this question in a short period of time, they'd pay more attention.
Here's the original message:

Whatever it is, it isn't mapping. It may be tedious but it isn't hard. I'd have to say ASM scripting would be the "hardest" for me personally. But I would suspect a skilled ASM scripter like HackMew would disagree.
I need a little help regarding variables.
I get how they work (mostly), but I have no idea what I would use them for. I've read some tutorials, but they haven't explained anything to me.
Can someone please illustrate a few examples on how one would use variables? Thanks.
EDIT: A completely...
I think I like PKSV more than XSE. :) The colored code, the expand/collapse option...it's really good.
Of course, it could be better (tabs, command help, better documentation, etc.) like XSE has.
I don't get it. I made a script, compiled it, and now I'm not sure how to decompile it so I can edit it. With XSE, I simply enter the offset and click the button. PKSV has this popup that has no meaning to me.
-_-
I tried running the "AssociateShell" file, but I just get "Access Denied" errors. I know what the problem is, I'm not an admin. -.-
Why is this necessary anyway? AdvanceMap and XSE don't need to be installed like this, you can just run them.
And PKSV seems to work, even though I can't run the...
I forgot, I'm using XSE. This script doesn't work.
EDIT: Well, I was able to get the script to work. That is just strange...
This is the script I WAS using:
This is the script I switched to:
I find this odd. Perhaps HackMew (or someone familiar with XSE) can explain it?
So, how does PKSV compare to XSE? Why would you recommend PKSV over XSE?
Nice tutorial, although I would make the text larger, and maybe darker. I don't like bright text, it hurts my eyes.
I also recommend making screenshots to illustrate what you're teaching. They make a huge difference...
I can't even begin to think of a good search term for this problem.
I'm trying to get a simple "hello world" script to work. At first, the sprite that I applied the script to wouldn't even show up on the screen. Next, I tried to change the offset of an existing sprite, but it kept saying the...
I searched again, including posts made by you. Nothing.
Is this the tutorial you're referring to? https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=189143&highlight=hex
If so, that doesn't answer my question. Isn't there an easier way? Like with XSE? I've even searched through a fire red script...
Right, so I searched, but didn't find the answer. How can I edit the introduction text (both the "how to play" and "oaks intro") in firered? I can't get advancetext to work.
Edit: Also, how do I create custom items?
Very nice. I like the screenshots. But you should add a space after the name of the person speaking. For example:
Cop:Watch out for Team Rocket!
In my opinion, it would be better to make it like this:
Cop: Watch out for Team Rocket!
Looking good so far. :)
