I don't se how he was fillin up for a main character seeing as usually there are only three main characters ( excluding the parts where Todd/Snap joined the trio ). True, nobody likes a know-it-all but then he did mature a bit during the series.

What if, the GS ball is portal to another world where pokemon are the trainers and humans are the ( how do i put it ) what we refer to as pokemon. And maybe poke balls in that world are gold/silver not red/white. Hmm
