One is fusion, the other is Portara.

Some people even count GT non-canonical. So that means if you count the movies and GT non-canon, then Gogeta is not canon.

Mostly because most of them are considered non canonical.

The only deaths I recall for Frieza are the following:

1. Trunks slicing him in half when he was Mecha
2. Goku killing him and Cell in Hell in DBGT

Frieza was never killed when Namek blew up. Goku spared his life, then King Cold found Frieza and reconstructed him.

He steals moves.

Plus, he was killed by a kid.
