It was a I wasn't sure you were interested/it's kinda long, but if you insist! I'll throw it in a spoiler since it's long.
    Spoiler:

A lot of people are personal about their own work so I understand! I didn't enter for a while because I wanted to be private about it too.

It's because I was going to take sociology this year until I found out who the teacher was (which is another story within itself) so then I dropped it and headed into psychology which covers almost the same situations, but a little differently. SO, we had to learn about all the things you can be under a psychology degree which is a lot and it's practically the same for sociology so I already knew~ Ahaha yeah you made it pretty clear xD but I agree too. I feel like you're forced to go to school for years just to get out and work for longer until you retire. On top of that I hear people say that our generation will probably never retire which is scary because I see that as such a waste of life.

I ALWAYS forget that you have that optional year off. I'm happy for you then! It's better to go in with everything in order then to arrive with a million other things on your mind.

Well I learned in psychology that to work in those kinds of fields you have to be emotionally strong because if something sad happens you can't just break down and cry in front of your client and you have to face that the job can be emotionally draining. So that's something you should take into consideration before fully pursuing it, but like I said I think the overall rewarding feeling overcomes the sadness. I'm glad someone else agrees too and yeah that would be fun! I would suspect fighting the evil force that is nature would be a lot more exciting with someone you know then some random person so I'll second that. :D
    o-o

You'd be a nice dictator. XD But uh, wouldn't people eventually rebel? =O Since well, as high as a power as you'll want to be, there would be people who want that power for themselves~

I could. That'd be a very weird collection though. @_@; Never heard of anyone collecting kettles. XD

There's no need to be shy in the future if you think about posting! It's not like the judges are secretly making fun of the poetry while judging it. At least I never did. xD Awhh thank you, maybe I'll get around to it a little sooner now.

Well in that case then it's a better idea to go for something else unless you really think you can break through. Of course you can always go for something else, but still be involved in music as a side job. So you win either way. Sociology is a good one since you can do so much with it. You can work for child services under it and then if you don't like it you can always try something else that's still within sociology. Yeah you should definitely take your time because it's a big decision, but I know it can feel like you're being rushed. At least that's how I feel because everyone around me keeps asking what I'm going to do for college and to start hurrying up and look around at them online so I can get an idea of what I want to do. I just feel like I'm being pushed into adult hood when I don't want to be an adult yet. D:

That's a great thing to want out of a career! At least you know that you'll go home at the end of the day with that rewarding feeling. I'm going for the relaxing and minimal effort theme. :) Disaster relief is just that random one that's on everyone's list, but I also see it as a way to travel. Even if you're traveling to a disaster area. I sincerely hope so because I've been doing nothing but dreading it lately, but on the bright side everything usually turns out being good or mediocre for me which is better then bad so I'm hopeful.

I never venture into there so I have no idea what it's like. What you write could be good maybe you're just harshly judging it like you said you did before. Yeah I don't really post anything of mine either besides poetry (which I haven't done in a while, but I've been contemplating on restarting) because one of my long lost PC goals is to win the poetry contest. :(
That's why you go to school for it though. So you can learn the technical side. Getting into it has to start somewhere and reading a lot about it is a good start. I'm sure you'd still get to review a lot of talented artists they just wouldn't be as popular as all the pop artists, unfortunately.

I don't want to discourage you! I'm just telling you from what I know and have seen. Awh, that's a good one and an emotionally tough one, but I think in the end it ends up being rewarding knowing that you're helping other people. Well I used to have a list of a million things I wanted to be, but I've lost all my future job inspiration. Although a couple things I have in mind are a tea herbalist, environmentalist, disaster relief person, interior designer, or hot air balloonist, but I don't even know if that last one is a real life career you can pursue. xD
Yes...I wouldn't accept fried foods eaither. Like really; food from a pants pocket...its disgusting. ^^' Ew, imagine a world where currency is our fried delicacies. Like say: to pay for our housing rents, we'd have to pay in fried chicken. Or maybe a child's allowance every week would be those Pogos; those kind of fried hotdogs on a stick. :/ Or the government will start taxing people out of their french fries; it'd be kind of weird to say the least... Probably a bad thing about this is that people will have more need for animals so the populations will lower signifigantly. =( Well they could use fruits or veggies as well, but for now I'm saying what would happen if people used fried foods~

Ah yes, the good ol' kettle. My own kettle barley works though. @-@; I got it around 2009 ish when I was stil lin high school; it was used for some old labs I did; like the study of water; i.e evaoporation, etc. Nowadays I just use it whenever I make hot chocolate or coffee.

Generally though I think people can tell a good writer from your average writer. If people say that you're a good writer then I'd believe it. Truly bad writing is usually just effortless writing so I don't see why people would compare that to anyone else's. I know I don't. I agree with you on that one. I'm my own worst critic. :D Have you seen anything I've posted here or do you mean in a you feel like I am sort of way? That perfectly explains where I fall! You seem to know a lot about music so it could be a very possible future career if you work at it. I think you have to be really passionate about law if you want to get into it. Only because my sister was trying to become a paralegal and then a lawyer for a while and you had to do so much just to even get into it. Like anything though if you really like it go for it! What kind of social services are you thinking about getting into?

Hahaha, that just made me laugh. xD Oh well, it was a good guess either way!

Well I don't feel bad anymore I'm just subtly annoyed when I look at other people's artwork. Which isn't good either. xD The great thing about music is that even if you can't sing or play an instrument you can still get into the business from a different point. Like working for a record label/recording company. Writing songs for artists could be a cool job too, but I'm not even sure how you break into that. I used to write in the past hence why I hosted the poetry thread for a while, but even then I started questioning my writing capabilities and then just stopped altogether. Funny enough I don't even like writing, but I've been told I'm good at it. Neither have I. I guess it's just one of those things you either have or you don't and unfortunately we don't.

Yeah when that whole Black/White theme was going around he had those moving sprites and I asked them where he got them which lead to a brief conversation. Then he sent me a friend request afterwards. Recently when I was fixing my friends list I noticed I had people on my list who didn't have the friend box checked next to them (he was one of them) so I clicked it not knowing that I was then sending out friend requests. So I guess he just added me as a contact? Either way I've been meaning to delete him because we never talk, but I'm just lazy. Why did you ask?

As much as I'd like to be a good artist I didn't enjoy my time on it at all so there really is no point in trying again and again. I just want to put down my pencil/internet art tools? and make a masterpiece without years of practice. Plus like you said I would be mad that my work wouldn't be as great as others that I admire. I guess I'm just annoyed with myself for wanting to go down the creative path, but not wanting to do any of the work. Forever lazy. :( I get creative vibes from you though. Maybe you're not artistically creative, but I feel like somewhere else in the realm of artsy stuff you would fit and my vibes are almost always right! ;D
    A
Yeah I'm sure it gave you more time to do other things then just playing a game. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. :) That's probably one of the more creative "How I found PC" stories that I've heard. Most of them always seem to be, "I came for ShinyGold!" which I never even heard of until I joined.

I guess I shouldn't bother trying much anymore then. Since I don't have a burning passion for it or anything really. Plus I wasn't making any progress. Yeah it makes me feel a little bit better too. Besides a lack of talent I think the main problem was the fact that I had to put so much effort into it and I'm a minimal effort person so it wasn't working out.

That's such a "little kid sad yet funny" story. xD I swear it's happened to everyone at least once before. So if you didn't touch anything Pokemon related since then why did you join a Pokemon forum?

I agree they both have nice avatar choices. Although the only one I can remember of Kura's is the one she has right now which I like so I'll have to see when she changes it again. Well as for myself if I had an ounce of artistic talent I'd make my own, but I'm talentless so I have been forced to lead a life of stealing from others. ;o; And I thought about 300 saved was a lot.
I see. You must be very talented and famous then.
I know people have paid in fried foods before, but Microwaves are very interesting payments. ~ u-u At least you won't have to worry about how to microwave popcorn. <3
