While I accept your train of logic, I have not once in my conversation with Rouge ever proclaimed myself to be a "Grammar Nazi". I am merely a grammar socialist. Like our economic counterparts, socialists seek to fairly distribute resources. In the case of the grammar socialist, we hold the firm belief that the knowledge of how to use grammar correctly is for everyone, that grammar itself is a universal knowledge, and that the distribution of this knowledge is done, not only for the ones who may have need of proper grammar in their daily lives, but also for those who may not need it. Our goal is towards a more coherent, and mutually understanding society. While our image may have been soiled by our uptight and arrogant grammar nazi counterparts --whom only correct grammar in the most inappropriate of circumstances and can usually be found on certain message boards with anonymity features, I wish for you to not to equate me to them.
At PC, it is a different case as, we may have a group that may be referred to as the 'Grammar Nazis'; however, they only register their private contempt at the inappropriate use of grammar rather than making people feel inferior. I also doubt that, from my personal experience with some of their members, they needlessly correct people if inappropriate. Most of our grammar nazis, instead turn their talents to reviewing. The fact that they are called grammar nazis is merely due to the nature of the meme. Most of the times, the term grammar nazi is used derogatorily.
Now onto my conversation with Ms. Rouge. While I may be showing open contempt at her use of grammar --going so far as to condemn her to the pseudo-punishment of, 'A thousand years learning grammar in a concentration class', I am merely using a basic form of SARCASM which I'm sure you've heard of before. Now, I use sarcasm in this context to evoke a sense of humour, and I am surprised that you did not detect this and would take it upon yourself, in your moral crusade against injustice, to tempt a backlash from me. I am sincerely unimpressed by this behaviour. Also, as sarcasm is a form of humour, I have also employed a basic joke telling format. That is to say, my earlier action of correcting of her grammatical usage was the 'setup' of said joke.
Now, I do not needlessly throw around humour for I am usually a serious person in real life and this occasionally mixes with my internet life. To remedy this, I occasionally use colloquial speech and words to show a much more cheery personality. This 'joke' was part of it. I do not usually go around correcting grammar except when the situation calls for it.
So take care and please remember to keep your nose out of the bussiness of others. Good day to you Miss.
Sincerely, Monsieur Mizan/ Mr. Kuro.
