Yes. Sadly, ideas might flow into your head, they'd be all cool. But consider this. Recolors just might slightly prove useful once. You can keep a sprite's certain color combo in your head or export it as a pallete, for when you do your own work, you'll be able to use it. However, recolors...

They're nice, but I kinda fear the player's reactions while playing on Tomato Island. It seems rather constrictive in regards to movement.

Great work on Charmander. I kinda fear there'll be heavy competition though, but we'll see.

I dunno. Try using the save states offered by the emulator, or change save types.

As far as I can see, Link's hat is done all wrong. On the frontal and back views, his cap seems to defy all gravity. His side view is slightly better, but not by a whole margin. Infact, it seems the front and back sides seem to share the same direction for the hat. Not a good idea, considering...

It will be somewhat disorienting to those who can spot those tiny flaws. Please don't try to edge yourself on a style as an excuse. This is why it was criticism in the first place.

There's a bit of a perspective issue going on with the houses. Let's look at the least triangular one as an example, shall we? Pokemon is a top-down esque game, it uses tiles in a fixed perspective and so on. Great. The house now follows that rule of the standard Pokemon games, birds-eye view...

Many of those works are pretty good. The waterfall looks especially good, would be really fitting in a GBA game (Unless that's your project. :P). What worries me is the book. I don't think, or have seen a book that shines so much, unless it has a protective foil or some sort of coating on it.

Nice reshading efforts. But concerning Darkrai, I think making his main body maybe more ghost, myst like would be more appropriate, I'm guessing. The choice of using warmer colors does make the sprites seem to pop out, glow more, which might be a bit odd if you're used to the originals...

Don't worry about flame replies, that was nowhere close to an insult. What I meant for Crawleep is, look at the thing it uses to support itself. Yeah? Well, unless it's supposed to be an Emerald-ish ordeal (like a battle animation), then you should tweak that support and not make it seem so far...

One problem right off the bat I spot with Bengal, is that her hair is practically neon-yellow. Doesn't look well. Tone the color down, desaturate it slightly, shift along the hues as you get darker or lighter. It'll help a lot in the future. Also, since I assume you were going for a Pokemon...
