I'm not sure. Possibly abilities but no held items. I enjoyed PLA and LGPE which didn't have them, so I'm pretty open-minded to whatever battle system PLZA cooks up.

I'm hyped for Pokemon Champions and Legends Z-A. Can't wait for either of them! Champions sounds like it could be a dream come true, especially after all Pokemon are supported. I hope they allow for a way to transfer Pokemon without completely resetting their moves, yet still uphold discontinued...

I expect battling and trading, but wouldn't mind if they aren't included. I don't anticipate a return of the Union Circle for this game specifically.
