If any of your Pokémon knows Fly or Teleport, you can use it to unfreeze. You should try it.

Yeah, that bug is really a problem. Until I release an update I would suggest you to save your game near that Trainer that is walking up and down, use a repel and try to sneak behind that Beauty. If you manage to trigger the cutscene with Aqua Grunts going to Mt. Pyre without entering a battle or a menu, you're good to go and there will be no glitch here anymore.

Well, that's not a rom, that's a patch you need to apply to your Emerald rom. You have to patch your Emerald rom on your PC using NUPS Patcher provided in the patch. Maybe I'll add some UPS Patcher for Android in the next update if I find one.
