It cannot find any of those "00 64" bytes. It must be doing something odd. So I can't do anything anyways.

Yup. And, it's even better: You don't have to change the 12th byte in the midi either. It converts it perfectly without any need for a hex editor.
Put it in the C:\Users\Yourname and get the 2 .dll files it needs, and put it in the same directory. Type in (under a command prompt window) midi2sseq namaeofmidi nameofsseq.

Hey. I found a redone version of MIDI2SSEQ that doesn't require you to replace FF C0 bytes. It makes them FF C7 instead, repairing the file and allowing you to continue on! Want a link?

Well, I'll go look at it and see if I can produce any results. I have my .SDAT ripped apart at the moment into it's individual files.

I need to find the location that tells the game what song to play in the intro. If that cannot be done, I need to make a sseq utilize a different sbnk.
