Okay so here's how battles work. For small, unimportant battles you're going to want the match to be predetermined. You two can settle who wins, or if you need to you can write the battle up to the last move and let me pick. Here and here is an example of a battle I did a joint post on, if you need a (admittedly, bad on my part) reference.

I know someone with the itty bitty gauges, and they aren't that bad, but then those huge ones are just awful. They make my ears hurt just to think about.

Well I've tried, but I usually go very out of character. Original characters just don't suit my fancy unless it's an open world like Pokemon for example, and even then they shouldn't be meeting up with Red and going to save the day using a team of OU Pokemon, then go be involved in a love triangle with Silver and...I dunno Professor Birch before deciding to join team Galactic and catching Giratina. Those stories kind of suck.

Yes, we're definitely going to ask for a third opinion for the battle. That way, no matter who's declared the winner, I'll have to deal with any result as-is.

And Emolga's nimble, sure, and they'd definitely be a match for a Cryogonal ... if I were actually using one now... (directs attention to an edited sign-up) ^^;

The Beartic actually seemed like a better idea anyways, so I'm glad you brought it up. Regardless, I was using Dragonair anyways, so Cryogonal can go someplace warm for all I care :P

Well I used to do it on paper, and then I did it on my other computer before it died, but right now I don't really have anywhere at all. I just haven't been writing a lot this summer, other than in RPs.

I was thinking of using Dragonair, and now that you mention it, having a Beartic on the team would actually feel more complete than a wayward Cryogonal floating around and creeping the ["s" word] out of everyone :P I can feel feel the pain in my @$$ that I'm getting just thinking about how tedious editing my sign-up is going to be once I run it through with StarSprite ... -.-

And I stressed the use of Emolga because of my Ice-Type Pokemon, I can't really remember right now, I'll have to go check, but I think Serena knows one or two Ice-Type attacks. I just didn't want an unfair type advantage, and a match-up that was sure to last one or two posts.

And I'm kicking myself for not thinking of Beartic in the beginning. Still, I wouldn't bother them by asking for a change in team now. She seems like she's got a lot to handle RP wise as it IS without dealing with something that minor.

Besides, Cryogonal's okay, Beartic would be nicer, but I can be just as sufficient with another Ice-Type, looks and Moveset aside.

And if you PM over the first go at the battle, I can see what my reaction would be. It really depends on what Pokemon you'd use though, which I'm guessing (more so HOPING) isn't your Emolga haha

Determination isn't the word haha. More like, forgetting what you put in the sign-up until AFTER you've been accepted.

I really only meant for "Crazflake" (my fail at a nickname) to be a filler Pokemon until I decided what I actually wanted instead. But then I put thay I was raised in Iccirus and that place is usually filled with Ice-Type Pokemon so ... I'm sure you get my point.

And yeah, the meeting could be the single-post whereas we can just have our battle post in the ready. I'm not sure how that'll okay out though, seeing as I've battled in an RP before, just not as a joint-post.
