This method is actually very useful if you haven't completed your Pokedex, and provides the means to buy some Rare Candy or PP Ups in the event you need some. I don't want to compare the two methods until I know how much time each of them takes. No problem, glad it helped! Haha, no problem...

I picked Pokemon Y because of Charizards Mega Evolve form inside it. I preferred it to X. Strategically their types change. Mega Charizard Y becomes a Flying /Fire , while the other becomes Fire / Dragon.

I catch everything without damaging it and while only throwing pokeballs. This has worked for me until about level 30, since then I have not been capturing pokemon and have been tackling the campaign / using wonder trade. I wonder how many pokeballs you would need to catch a mewtwo haha.
