Hmm, I believe that my brother has made that same mistake as well. He didn't stop his education once he got out of high school, & as a result, he also had a pretty hard time finding work after he finished. He had to take up quite a few temporary positions before he was finally able to find a more permanent position.

So yeah, men do have the same problems finding work as women...

& now that you've mentioned it, they do happen to hire more teen than adults as well, so you're not the only one who thinks like that. But... since you're 22, why haven't you gotten employed in your teens??

Wow, this is just sad. Everyone's wondering why the unemployment rates are so damn high, when the real reason is that all the employers are so damn picky.

That, & the fact that a lot of companies are transferring jobs over to foreign countries, as they'd rather have something that's as close to slave labor that they can get, without it actually being slave labor.

Does this, "submit applications & pray" method apply to even those fast food joints??

Nice analogy there, Syltti. & now that you've mentioned it, I do believe that most employers are pretty damn picky with all of their applicants. It's all about choosing the right person for the job.

However, one thing that I don't get is that they all are looking for experienced workers. I mean really, how the hell can someone find a job, when all the employers require experience in the workforce prior?!

Hmm... I take it that you live out in the countryside, hmm? Jobs are a lot harder to come by over there than it is in a town or a city.

Depending on which occupation you have in mind for yourself, it can be indeed hard to find a position.
