Hmmm... Not really. You can easily recruit anything regardless of its health, but its harder when other demons are on the feild. You also can't recruit just anything, like bosses, or just certain demons. The "moon phase" stuff makes things work funny from time to time, and then there's the whole fusion thing... So no, its not really like pokemon. Except that you recruit enemies to fight enemies kinda way... :\

Well, the game play's better for a couple of reasons. Sure the dungeons aren't actually random, that has a bit to do with it, but the battle/fusion's what I'm talkin' about. In P4, you were basically fusing your own abilities, but in Nocturne, those things you create become your teammates instead of, well, you. :3 Makes it so much easier to have an epic team.

Well of course not. Its like comparing a movie to the book, the book's purpose is to tell a story while entertaining, while the movie's job is to entertain while telling a story, or whatever. XD You got the gist. Although I must say, Nocturne's game play is a LOT better than P4's. And that's saying something. o-o

Well, the setting and basic game stuffs is awesome, and its showing promise in terms of plot, but its just a basic video game plot kinda thing. > 3> P4 was a story with a video game, Nocturne is a video game with a story. XD
