Can definitely tell you're a big Gen 5 fan ;) For me there isn't a whole lot as I enjoyed the games so much but I guess my only points of disappointment come from B2/W2; I didn't think the story quite matched up to the standards set by BW (although it was still very acceptable for a pokemon...

Yep. Both Blaziken and Infernape have had solid use in OU at some point (Blaziken obviously getting banned Gen 5/6) whereas Emboar has always been lower tier. ...and that's just an insult to Snorlax.

Emboar ...I mean look at it. Ugly, over-designed piece of crap. What made it worse for me is that it was the 3rd Fire/Fighting starter in 3 generations so it's typing has never helped.

A pretty decent story with genuine character development. Also having only Unova pokemon available in the first game made you feel like you was starting from scratch.

Sort of yeah. You were forced to use Unova pokemon, route numbers went back to 1, the region was kinda unique and it felt like they'd really invested in the narrative for the first time in a pokemon game. Even subtle changes like the re-use of TMs, battling the E4 in any order etc. made it feel...

I'm trying to think whether I forced myself to use a Lumineon during a playthrough of DPP... probably would of gave up if I did anyway - awful pokemon. Person below has never... had an Espeon or Umbreon in GSC.

An egomaniac that felt awfully tame considering he was following Cyrus and Ghetsis. The Gen 6 story just seemed woefully underdeveloped compared to Gen 5's which had a genuine backstory to the villain's plot and presented Ghetsis as extremely unlikeable and wicked.

10/10 - One of my favourites.

I saw someone say the name 'Magiana' looked a little like 'Mangina' and I couldn't take it seriously after that. Magearna doesn't look bad I guess... I mean both names could be pronounced as Mah-gear-na anyway except the English version just spells it our for you.

4/10 - Rather morbid sounding stuff. Sounds like something that would accompany one of those segments in a game with large blocks of text to read. Ny7QFgBvQnY SNES version is probably better tbh.

8/10 - Rather like it actually. Probably would of given it higher if I'd played Monster Hunter myself and heard it in-game. KOs57nGjRgE From a section of the game where the visuals and audio compliment each other brilliantly.
