Crappy-- but then better. Prepare yourself. This was my damn week. / long story
I got into a total tiff with my Algebra professor. You know how NJ got hit by Hurricane Sandy? Well, the college was closed for two weeks. I find out when I get back that my teacher had sent an email saying there was going to be class and a test. Well, we had no power so I got no such email. Go to class the next day, take the missed test-- and she's collecting tests from other students. So I'm all like, "wut" and she's all like, "a bunch of people flunked so I let them take the test home and redo it" so I was like, "a'ight".
Weeeellllll....... I totally bombed the test. Got like a 72 or something. Way below my average. Freaking Algebra. So I'm like, "okay, lemme take that shiz home" and she said, "no, that was a special deal given to students who were able to make it to school". -_________-;;
She was giving preferential treatment to students who were less effected by the hurricane.
So I went straight to her boss. Took it up with the Dean of Mathematics. And because I'm in the top 2% of the college and not on financial aid, my opinion actually matters to these people. I made a freaking half-ton stink about the whole deal. Played all the cards in my hand.

Retook the test yesterday. And not just me-- but EVERYONE who got below a certain grade on ANY test was able to retake it.
Got a 96 on the test, stood up for myself, and fought for equality on behalf of all students.
