There isn't a tutorial on how to add animation (that I know of) but I think LU-HO posted a program that can do that on some other forum. As for changing existing animations, Tile Molester works great. I can help you out with that if you want.

Yeah, it's one of my favorite games. Once I figure out this level data stuff, I'm going to try to make my own levels. :D

YAY! Just promise me you won't try too hard. Work if you want to but if you're not feeling it, then just don't. I think that a lot of people quit hacking because they treat it as a job instead of a hobby. To me, it's just something I do in my spare time, not something that I devote a set amount of time towards in order to produce something that I can release. I think if you adopt that attitude towards hacking (i.e., working for yourself, not for the hacking community), you'll enjoy it a lot more. Really, I just don't want to see you leave again. :)
