  • Whoa, that's actually pretty cool. I am not too into auto mechanics myself, but I understand enough to where I know how vehicles work and how they're made. I'm surprised how thick a lot of the parts for older cars compared to ones nowadays in general. But then, there's also a lot more electrical crap in them too, which is harder to work around than 1990s vehicles. I can imagine future vehicles being made from even lighter material, but if you can strengthen their integrity too, that'd be surely awesome.
Oh, oh, oh! Actually, I would probably understand that better than you think. Well, to an extent... I'm familiar with fabrication and metal working because my dad was trying to season me on car repair a few years ago (namely, stuff that involved welding parts together). I know that certain types of steel tend to degrade in solidity over time and give way to stress-induced breaks. Specifically, the mufflers on my dad's 1995 Ford Explorer fell off a few years ago because we travel down a lot of back roads with it. Bumpy roads can wreak havoc on metallic parts and long winters only make things worse (the mixture of salt and snow speed up corrosion). I know that's not what you're studying, but I'm not completely unaware of things.
Yeah, I know you're a grad student. Sounds like you've really come a long way, though. What kind of research are you into? I mean, it sounds like you've got your hands full on something important if you're preparing for a meeting (I know you mentioned having a presentation next week, but that was a little vague).
Got it! Like I said, any time is good for me this week, except maybe Wednesday because I have to work (but that should just be in the morning).
Oh, I got a trash can in my house early on. I just didn't realize that having one for the town was a bad idea.
Thanks for the tip about the garbage can in AC-New Leaf. I put in an order to get rid of it right away this morning in my game.
Probably. Well, I guess a better story is the one where I traded legendaries to a French player and got them back. I think he may have had them already, but now he has a lot of their English entries and I got a few more French Pokemon out of the deal, including a Meadow Vivillon with Friend Guard
Well, that was an interesting evening. I just forgot how much the 3DS's keyboard sucks to type with.

So, anyways, I thought that story was interesting about the new player who got a Torkoal via Wonder Trade and I offered up a Magician Fennekin and Protean Froakie to help him along. I just hope the person remembers to check the abilities. I'm sure he/she'll like them no matter what, I just wanted to give him/her a nice little surprise.
    Ok.

...Um, you don't mind if someone else visits my town too... I promised him we'd play a few days ago... You may or may not know him as PrettySylveon here.
Sure. Meh, the notification thing has been weird lately here. I think it got messed up with the change over of themes or something.
The whole fun of it was everybody commanding. And that is anarchy. lORD hELIX disapproves of such behavior.
Alright. I'll check back around 6:00 my time. If anything comes up, just let me know. I just hope we can get in more playtime than last week.
