Hey there. Remember me? Ive recently started a new game. Its called Apple To Apples and i was wondering if you'd like to join?

Generation I (Red, Blue, Green, & Yellow) and Generation II (Gold, Silver, & Crystal) are not capable of Wi-Fi trading. Trading Pokémon via Wi-Fi was not available until 2006-07. The only way to trade between those two generations is with an old Game Boy (Color/Advandce) and a Game Link Cable.

If what you're seeking is to trade Pokémon introduced from Gen I & II, it can be done with Gen IV & V games.
