I've always had a nostalgic attachment to Totodile/Croconaw/Feraligatr. I also tend to raise Mareep/Flaafy/Ampharos and Wooper/Quagsire; sadly, the former is unobtainable in Crystal.
I would use Houndour/Houndoom more often, if it weren't obtained so late in the game... >_<
I should also...
Consoles:
NES (original front-loading NES-001 model)
Super NES (original)
Nintendo 64 (my first video game console)
Nintendo GameCube (Jet, with Game Boy Player)
Sega Genesis (model 2 VA2.3; I also have a VA6 model 1 and a VA0 model 2 I will likely sell)
Sony PlayStation (SCPH-7501)...
I started with Gold in 2001. I think I originally wanted Red/Blue/Yellow for Stadium compatibility, but the store was out of those, therefore I ended up with Gold instead.
If I still had anything to record, I would probably still use VHS because that is what is available to me (no DVD recorder, etc). I have still used it as late as 2008.
The only problems I had with it were the poor picture quality and the tendency for the tapes to degrade over time.
StarFox (SNES)
Pokémon Stadium (N64): Most of Round 2 remains.
Pokémon Stadium 2 (N64): Most of Round 2 remains.
Super Mario 64 (N64)
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC)
Classic NES Series: The Legend of Zelda (GBA): I just started the Second Quest.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA): I got...
Super NES, Genesis (if I had multiple games), and N64 games end up on a shelf stacked in alphabetical order. GCN games are in alphabetical order in their original keep cases.
I currently store Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games in an old cardboard box.
The LCD monitor connected to my desktop has a native resolution of 1440*900.
It's satisfactory, but I would prefer at least 1920*1080 or 1600*1200 or something. (Too bad monitors with native resolutions taller than 1200px are rare now...)
