you can catch as many pokemon as you want, you just cant use em in battle, except for the one you chose. so the bellsprout you trade for onix would not count as your one chosen pokemon.

it was nice at first because it was a new type of pokemon game with different gameplay which worked pretty well and was interesting, but the lack of variety brings the interest level down drastically by the end. reusing the exact same maps or each level makes it seem like your just replaying...

trading will be allowed. basically your allowed to have other pokemon, you just cant use em in battle unless its a pokemon you aquired from an in-game NPC. but if you evolve a pokemon from one then its still ok.

ah i originally planned for no TMs but since numerous people have already used them, as well as i myself gave into them ill allow em :P
