The Snatching (name subject to change)
This would really just be a survival RP, where you would survive monsters and harsh climates, and travel throughout different dimensions. Who knows what could be awaiting for you next! A volcanic land that rains acid? A world where tornadoes are constantly destroying the land? A beautiful, lush, green field where in reality, everything is poisonous and harmful to humans? You don't know...
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! ;)
Spoiler:
What if one day, when you woke up, you were in a whole new dimension?
This is exactly what happened to a handful of humans between the ages of eleven and thirty on July 16th, 2024. Their bodies still remained in this dimension in the form of a coma, and yet, their minds and consciences remained elsewhere. Most of these people died within two weeks to nine months. Scientists have no idea where these people's consciences go. Human technology just simply wasn't that advanced. Then how did they know that these people leave their own bodies?
Montague Smith. The only one to wake up from his coma. He told the scientists everything. That beings from an alternate reality are using Homo Sapiens as test subjects for inter-dimensional travel. That was the only information that they got out of poor Mr. Smith, for he was soon diagnosed with hysteria. He constantly muttered about monsters, slaughter, and his friends.
No one believed him. It had to be a coincidence that some people fell into a deadly coma at the same time, right?
That's what everyone believed, until the same thing happened the next year, but no one survived the coma. The same thing happened the next year. And then the next.
This day, July 16th, became known as the Snatching. Scientists are working tirelessly at trying to stop this global epidemic, but to little avail. All anyone could do is wait and hope against hope that they're not chosen.
It is now July 15th, 2030. The night of the Snatching. Households around the world trembled in fear for what the next morning would bring. Parents trained children in martial arts, sword fighting, and survival techniques.
Morning came...
As you've probably guessed by now, you are one of the chosen few who will leave their body, and travel to who knows where against their own will. Whether you're ready for it or not...
