Canadian history? Uh... I don't really find it that interesting. xD It's basically just the Natives settled here and the Europeans kicked them out (and then some other Europeans kicked those other Europeans out lol). xD

But maybe Canadian history might not be as boring as English history. :D

oh yeah that would explain the repointing issue with maps that happen sometimes. oh well, a-map is still my favorite rom hacking program :D

Hmm... New Years Day... Uh, well I'm not sure how it's celebrated where you are, but in Niagara Falls, for every special day, they always shoot fireworks by the Falls. They might have fireworks where you are; if not, then you can probably just enjoy a nice big dinner out or in. ^^

I don't want every single tile on the map to be vibrating^^
I just want to add a few nice little touches here and there to give my maps a little more life.
Man, Minish Cap is just full of good animation ideas, like the swinging bell and the watermill in the Hyrule Town.

Ah. Good idea. The only problem I'm going to run into with these animations is the fact that I can't sprite to save my life :'(
Luckily I can rip graphics from other games (like the windmills from D/P and the chimney smoke and fireplace from Minish Cap) so I will most likely be limited more by my ability to interpret and modify the code than by my own artistic shortcomings.

Oh and keep the ideas flowing. This is good stuff ^_^
